Donald Trump must not really be needed at the real estate office since he wants to spend so much time on television. This time he’s talking about doing a Dr.Phil/Judge Judy type talk show.
Sources told the trade that Trump is developing a “unique” Judge Judy-Dr. Phil hybrid in which he would serve as a mediator and counselor for people engaged in money-related disputes, be it a messy divorce or the need to teach Junior the value of a dollar.
Meaning, one side will be deemed to have a great future ahead of him/’her, while the other party will be deemed “a disaster.”
The half-hour series will be produced in New York by Reveille and Trump Productions, and a deal with Twentieth Television is expected to be announced soon with an eye on a fall 2008 debut.
Well I suppose if there’s anything Trump knows about, it’s money related disputes. Isn’t his 15 minutes up yet?
Angelina Jolie is Donald Trump’s latest target. Not that anyone asked him, but he had this to say:
“Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she’s like this great beauty. And I’m not saying she’s an unattractive woman, but she’s not beauty, by any stretch of the imagination. I really understand beauty. And I will tell you, she’s not — I do own Miss Universe. I do own Miss USA. I mean I own a lot of different things. I do understand beauty, and she’s not.”
No wonder his wife never smiles.
This is like the best thing I heard in a long time. Billionaire Mark Cuban is blasting Donald Trump for speaking out about the Dan Rather lawsuit. After Trump called rather a “loser”, Cuban had a few words while being interviewed by Tony Potts.
“Donald Trump is a first-class idiot! . . . Nothing he says that comes out of his mouth has any validity or any value. He just throws it from the hip and that’s fine for him.” He then trashed Trump’s various enterprises, cackling, “Trump water. Blah! Trump Magazine. Blah! Trump steaks. Blah! Trump vodka. Blah! When you’re so desperate to make a dollar you have to put your name [on] everything, and then you have to comment on everything . . .” Cuban also charged him with building “everything off of denigrating somebody else.”
While Cuban is right on the money, you know Trump wasn’t going to keep his mouth shut either.
“Mark is a total loser. This all started in 2004, when he tried to do a show, ‘The Benefactor,’ which was a copy of ‘The Apprentice’ and it was a total disaster. “It was thrown off the air like he was a dog. And it’s kind of interesting - Cuban lives in one of my buildings. He lives in a Trump building and yet he doesn’t like Trump. People in the building find him a total jerk.”
The developer added: “He will always be third-class. [The Mavericks] lost the championship last year and the year before. My water is a huge success. The magazine, Ocean Drive [publishers] paid a fortune to [acquire] it. The steaks are selling through the roof.” He said Trump Vodka sold 65,000 cases in its first year compared to Grey Goose’s 17,000 and Absolut’s 20,000.
“This is the only way he can get publicity,” Trump fumed. “By attacking me. But, as you know, when people attack me, I attack back.”
Yes, we’re well aware of that Donald.
You knew Donald Trump would weigh in on the whole Britney Spears/VMA thing, didn’t you? Well he did, and he also has some new words regarding Rosie O’Donnell.
Donald told the magazine show “Extra” the he caught Britney’s MTV VMA “comeback” performance and it was disgraceful. “I think it was sad and I hope she can pull it together,†he said. “Britney has to shape up and she has to shape up fast.â€
He didn’t stop there though, and felt the need to trash Rosie O’Donnell’s new book too.
“Rosie is a loser and her book is terrible,†Trump said. “She attacks Barbara Walters and she attacks me…she’s not a smart person. If her book does as poorly as her magazine and Broadway shows, it will fail.â€
He just loves to hear himself talk, doesn’t he?
