OK. So maybe this would be the deal breaker with me too. TMZ is reporting today one of the reasons Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmond’s faux marriage didn’t last is because Eddie wanted his mother to come along on the honeymoon. I’d kind of want out too. My mother in law is nice and all, but just on a spend the day for Christmas sort of basis, no way would I take her on my honeymoon.
So now we have it. The reason Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy didn’t have a real wedding is because Tracey wouldn’t sign a prenup. If that’s the case, rumors of Tracey being a gold digger might not be so far off.
It’s over alright. Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are issuing a statement regarding their failed two week fake marriage.
“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”
Oh yeah. BFF’s I’m sure.
PageSix.com is reporting Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are divorcing, two weeks after their highly publicized, if not exactly legal, wedding in Bora Bora.
Yeesh. This is even worse than Pamela Anderson. Two weeks? Does no one try and work it out anymore? I don’t get it. Why even bother? And if you do bother, why not go to counseling or do something to make it work. Two weeks. That’s Cher-worthy.
According the an item in the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds aren’t really married in the eyes of the law in French Polynesia where a couple must reside there for 30 days before marriage is allowed.
