Eddie Murphy’s Marriage Isn’t Valid

According the an item in the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds aren’t really married in the eyes of the law in French Polynesia where a couple must reside there for 30 days before marriage is allowed.

Malgras explained that the wedding, which took place on the beach with Tracey walking barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight’s “Makings of You,” does not constitute, “a real marriage, if it is on the beach with only a local priest. I think it was just an exotic, artistic ‘marriage."

It’ll be that much easier to get divorced in a couple of years then.
