Despite rumors that have been floating around to the contrary, Disney’s "Hannah Montana" isn’t being canceled.
The show is being affected by the writer’s strike, however, and is behind in production. “The Internet reports are COMPLETELY FALSE, including comments from the fictitious Disney Channel spokeswoman Janey Moore,” the rep told the Blog Girl at TigerBeat.com.
It really didn’t make sense, anyway. Hannah Montana is a cash cow for Disney. And if you know Disney, they milk everything dry. That’s why they’re filing yet another "High School Musical". I’d say Hannah Montana’s going to continue for a few more seasons until the next big thing comes along. In the mean time Miley Cyrus’ job is safe.
