As if we didn’t know this would happen.
No magic petition made Paris Hilton’s jail time lessen, but authorities reported Wednesday that Hilton’s jail time would be cut to around 23 days. In addition, she will be separated from the general inmates while she serves her time.
According to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Hilton will serve her (now shortened) jail time in a “special needs housing unit.”
The reason Hilton’s sentence has been reduced stems from what officials call “good behavior,” including her recent court appearance and the fact that she actually showed up.
As with everyone else in the special unit, Hilton will be allowed outside her cell for an hour each day for personal time, including showers or simply to talk on the phone.
