Jamie Lynn Spears‘ makeup artist, Michael Johnson, has nothing but nice things to say about Jamie Lynn and feel she’s mature "beyond her years." I beg to differ, Michael, because if she was so wise she wouldn’t be knocked up at 16. Anyway, her loyal makeup artist is talking to the press.
“When things like this happen, they certainly end up as blessings,” Johnson said of the unexpected baby news, which made headlines late last night.
Johnson, who thinks highly of the baby’s father, Casey Aldridge, thinks the young pair could end up going to the chapel where, coincidentally, he says they met.
“Casey is a good man, I know that he loves her very much,” said Johnson.
Except didn’t Casey announce on his MySpace that he and Jamie are no longer together?
Regardless of marriage plans, he feels Jamie Lynn is more than capable of being a good mother.
“I think that she’ll be the same kind of a mother that she is a person, she’ll be beautiful,” he said.
Johnson first met Jamie Lynn when he was hired as the then-11-year-old’s personal makeup artist on kids sketch comedy show All That.
Johnson watched her mature under much media scrutiny due to big sister Britney’s well-documented decline.
“She’s beyond her years and has been for some time,” he said of the resilient 16-year-old, who despite her young age is very maternal.
I think it’s nice that her makeup artist is willing to talk with the press about her and all, but I don’t buy for a minute that she’s so smart and mature. She’s a Spears, after all, and that doesn’t quite translate into "rocket scientist."
