I know there are a lot of you out there who don’t remember "The Bob Newhart" show but my family watched it every weekend, my parents especially loved it. If I remember correctly, it was on past my bedtime, but I heard the howls of laughter up two flights of stairs. It wasn’t until the series was in afternoon reruns that I knew what all the laughter was about.

Though Suzanne wasn’t in the cast of Bob Newhart’s next successful sitcom, "Newhart" she did appear on the final episode. An her appearance turned out to be the best "final episode" of any sitcom ever. Incidentally, Suzanne was married to "Newhart’s" Tom Poston who passed away several months ago.

Suznne Pleshette was born January 31, 1937 in New York City. Her career began after she graduated from the city’s School of Performing Arts and acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She met Tom Poston in 1959 when they appeared on stage together, but didn’t marry him until much later. Some of her early television appearances included "Have Gun Will Travel", "Playhouse 90" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." Recent roles included appearances on "8 Simple Rules" and "Will and Grace."
